I solemnly swear I am up to no good...
For those who still have your Genesis, keep an eye out for your hardware revision.

Seeing "High Definition Graphics" and the EXT port means you have a highly desirable model.

Out of all the hardware revisions, this one is revered as the best.
Let's get down to business...
The Sega Genesis (among many other retro consoles) is capable of RGB video. A signal that many of us gamers in the USA could not use.

With @HDRetrovision cables converting the RGB to Component (YPbPr) and a @retrotink2 turning it into HDMI this visual splendor is possible.
The RetroTINK's potential is completely unleashed when you've got HDRetrovision Component cables pulling the best signal out of your SNES, Genesis, Playstation, or Saturn. (Even modded NES & N64's as well!)
Let's even take it a step down to S-Video!

I know this is unfair, because the Saturn has excellent video output at all levels, but with RetroTINK even S-Video will look fantastic.
The next step down? Composite video.

What could that possibly look like?
Well, Composite can be surprisingly livable! Thankfully modifications are available for the NES if one desires.

Fun Fact: The NES & Genesis can use the exact same power supplies. Their power requirements are similar.
I solemnly swear I was using a well-shielded RCA cable for the Composite signal.

Look at this heckin' chonker.
