Police currently blocking off protesters in front of Lafayette Square. They briefly pushed them back
On the other side near Black Lives Matter Plaza. Doesn’t seem to be a kettling situation. Unclear why police are blocking protesters from accessing an open street
Allegedly white conservatives were verbally harassing protesters to start a fight. Police allegedly blocked them off to let the conservatives through. This officer would not let me pass to an open space even when I showed my press credentials
Officers were leaving the area when some lunged at protesters. Unclear why

That individual is still outside the fence, and is continuing to deride and mock protesters near the White House #DCProtests
