2. Biden actually talks more about his faith than any major Democratic figure in recent decades -- I think you'd have to go back to Carter to find an equivalent. Doesn't matter to Christian right because Biden's liberal Catholicism is anathema.
3. Biden is a very mainstream American Christian in that for him Christianity is a mixture of church-going, good works, and social amelioration. For Christian nationalists, the faith is about preserving God's country, an idealized version of 1950s America really.
4. Christian nationalism in a nutshell is Mike Pence replacing "Jesus" with "Old Glory" in a speech paraphrasing 2 Biblical verses. In effect: America (the old white dominated America, the "real" America) is God.
