Another recent addition to my library is @thewonderyears. I discovered this band when their album Sister Cities released on the day i came back from Portugal and I havent looked back since. They are now my favourite band and I almost feel guilty I didn't discover them sooner

Their album The Greatest Generation has overtaken American Idiot as my favourite album of all time and all I want to say is thank you for all you have done for me in the short time I've listened to you. You were my most lisyened to band in 2019 btw. Thank you @thewonderyears

And to another band, you have been in my life for a very long time but you put out an album this year that seemed to be made specifically for me and although it wasn't, I thank you for it because when I feel low, I put that shit on and it helps me. Thank you @AllTimeLow

This is gonna be my last ting of using social media to cope with my mental health because I feel like it's actually putting me in a place that's even worse

For those who care/don't know, I post depressing/self depreciating memes as my way of coping with my poor mental health which clearly is a bad coping mechanism

I'm gonna try and post things that promote good vibes/important information about the shit heap of a world we're all living in right now so if you catch me posting anything relating to the previous tweet, call me out on that so I can learn to be better

@puptheband released the best record of 2019 and it's called Morbid Stuff. I discovered this bad through an Insta ad for their single "Kids" and when their album came out, I listened to it and I'm pretty sure I've listened to it in full at least once a week since it was released

Getting a bit wet again but I have the best friends ever. They have been there for me through thick and thin even when I reject them trying to help me and I'm a straight up cunt to them. Just know I love and appreciate every single one of you xxx

Keeping it wet, I always feel I'm not good enough for anyone or anything but at the same time I know I am. It's very paradoxical and I know it's weird as fuck but that's just me lol

More people need to watch Ozark. This show is full of amazing writing and direction. I won't even talk about the performances because I'll have to start a completely separate thread

If everything goes well, 2021 is shaping up to be a great year gig-wise for me. I'll be going to Slam Dunk and seeing @Sum41 who are a childhood favourite of mine, as well as @thewonderyears (for the first time) and @DONBROCO (for the fifth time.) All 3 rank in my top 10 bands

Not only that, I will finally see @GreenDay and @MCRofficial who have both been idols of mine since I was a child. I never got a chance to see them and quite frankly, I have never been more excited for anything else

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is one of my favourite songs

I'm also a very big fan of Cage the Elephant and I'm not ashamed to admit it's because of Borderlands

I know I said Run Away with Me is the best pop song ever but Too Close by Alex Clare is a close contender

I also love the Michael Buble's cover of Feeling Good. It is my go to karaoke song because I can sing that shit perfectly

My dream for a huge part of my life was to be a rockstar but I realised I don't have the creativity for songwriting because every song I wrote sounded like another song that had already been written and a lot of songs are like that but I found it hard to make the song my own

So I decided to turn my creativity to writing and I really feel like I've got a lot of potential there, I just need the motivation to finish scripts and do something with them. I have a sick stoner comedy i wanna share with the world but just gotta take that step iygm

The show I did at the boiler room was probably the best night of my life. I've been chasing that high since February 2018
