• Pretend you paid hundreds of dollars for this course.
• Take action on what you're learning - today.
1/ GENERAL ADVICE

• Your goal should be to provide value.
• Provide value and people will follow you, simple as that.
• Everything you tweet should answer a simple question: what value is this providing and who is it providing value to?
• Let this be your guiding principle.
1.2/ Analytics

• Three numbers matter when growing an audience: impressions, engagements, and profile visits.

• Your KPI: conversation rate: number of new followers over number of profile visitors.

• Profile visits come from engagements, which come from impressions.
2/ NAILING YOUR PROFILE

Five steps happen when someone follows you:

1. They discover your profile.
2. They read your bio/banner.
3. They read your pinned tweet.
4. They read and scroll your timeline.
5. Then, maybe, they decide to follow you.

Every step matters.
2.2/ Being discoverable

• Before you have 500 followers, you will tweet into the void.

• Instead, engage and add value to other people's conversations.

• Reply with consistent, standalone value. Others will notice.

• Don't overcomplicate this step. Just add value.
2.2/ Craft your profile

• Carefully choose your photo, banner, bio, and pinned tweet.
• Your pinned tweet should be your golden tweet.
• Your bio should concisely explain what you tweet about.
• Your tweets should be only the best of the best
• Use @coolors_co for palettes.
3/ HOW TO CREATE TWITTER CONTENT

Every tweet should have a goal in mind:

• Add value to people's timelines.
• Grab attention - stop them mid-scroll.
• Create evergreen tweets with lasting value.
• Provide an "aha" moment or present an idea in a new way.
3.2/ Seven Struggles of Content Creators from @improvementgeek:

• Impatience.
• Feeling entitled.
• Inability to be creative.
• Scared to niche down.
• Comparing/competing.
• Overchecking notifications.
• Frustration with low numbers.

Don't fall victim to these.
3.3/ What Not to Tweet

• Be authentic, but don't be boring
• Be engaging, but don't bait engagement.
• Be opinionated, but stay away from social issues.
• You are one click away from being unfollowed. Remember this.

1. Ride a trend.
2. Be vulnerable.
3. Make it rhyme.
