POLICE ARE NOT JUDGES! It is not their responsibility to decide who is guilty or not!

Know who carries a knife in their car? My dad. My inheritantly kind & unassuming father worries that some day he may face a situation where he needs to cut a seatbelt (or any other roadside emergency). Know who else carries knives in their cars? Probably a whole lot of drivers!!

Police need to stop shooting to kill. They go to target practice for a reason. If they suspect someone is a threat, shoot them in the foot. Shoot their ass, or their arm, or any other limb that will not kill but subdue them until you can handcuff them (or whatever is necessary)

This thread may be unpopular opinion with my fellow privileged white folx but I truly dgaf. I’m so sick of hearing about police violence, especially then hearing about the white kid who walked away from a protest, right by police, after murdering two people.

I honestly don’t know what else I can do. I’m trying to educate myself and stand up to people making racist comments or using hateful language, but I don’t feel like it’s enough. So I take to twitter to rant. My apologies.

This is the end of my ranting... for today. Cuz I can guarantee this won’t be the last time a black man is shot repeatedly in the back by police
