The Sims community today (myself included):
Like, good for you if you’re excited for this pack, but this is what a majority of the community didn’t want. It’s like EA is ignoring what we actually want at this rate. I am VERY upset at the path TS4 is going down, I remember when I was so happy to play TS4 on launch day.
Now I’m just dreading as this beloved franchise crashes down, becoming nothing but a cash grab with little to no thought for the people who cherished it all these years. I’m so upset about this I’ve nearly cried. What happened to the Sims I used to love?
Some of you really think we’re ragging on the new pack for no other reason than we don’t like it.

Babies are objects, the darker skin tones are awful and need to be varied, children and elders have basically no playability due to lack of content and things to do. Where the young adults have all the focus. Sims is a life simulator, that includes families, not one life stage.
The people who are attacking others and the gurus are NOT in the right, so don’t think for a second I’m excusing their behavior.

I want you all to consider the idea that the gurus don’t really have a say in what packs get made, because they have to bring it up to the higher ups first, being EA. This pack is honestly just a big paid promotion for Star Wars, like how Moschino Stuff was a paid promotion.
I realize I said “Sims team” in one of my replies on this thread, and I wrote it in the heat of the moment due to being so upset. I have no negativity directed at the team because they’re just doing what their employer tells them. EA is the problem, not the Sims team.
