It is remarkable and upsetting to continue to see women, primarily of color and/or LGBTQ, erased from media projects predicated on and directly in the lineage of their research and insights erased from the picture.

But what else is new.

Meanwhile, @safiyanoble and I are planning media projects via @C2i2_UCLA — film, audio, books, etc. — that will appropriately recenter the scholars and activists whose insights bring appropriate political heft and context. So stay tuned!
