Genuinely nothing to do with a Tory government what decisions bosses take about their staff. Bizarre to start trying to scare employees about being sacked when it is absolutely not in the gift of ministers to decide who “deserves” to lose their job or not.

The government will pay for wages for a few months and then spend the next few months trying to scare the bejesus out of you.
