Dear American Schools: Can we just call this a "gap year" for all students K-12 and let them "find themselves" by playing in the mud outside or making gak on the weekends? Like for real, these kids been in virtual school 3 days and already hating their life.

I have a Masters in Education and have taught K-college for over 10 years and this is what I believe would be the BEST option right now. For their mental health and for their educational growth. I know not all parents have the privilege of letting their kids do this...BUT

I bet if school districts and admin "gave permission" for this style of unschooling to be "allowed" parents would feel a LOT less stressed out. Just saying.
