What needs to be changed in NBA2k21 MyLeague:

(THREAD)

The first thing that comes to mind is historic draft classes.
2k put them in a couple years ago and I love the idea but the execution WAS TERRIBLE.

Example, if you use 2003 which has LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Melo, etc they all have there pictures from 2020.

So a 2003 rookie version of LeBron has no hair and has al the same tendencies as 2020 LeBron does but just lessee the attributes.

Another thing wrong with it is that THERE TO DAMN LAZY TO CHANGE THE YEARS PRO.

Why years pro is a big deal is bc if you use a historic draft class in MyLeague, the ROTY won't be the players from the draft bc there years pro is already 8 years for example WHICH IS STUPID.

So you have to take your time and go to everybody and edit there years pro.

PROGRESSION:

If you sim 5 years ahead in MyLeague you will find that every team has 80+ overalls. So in 2025 the league will be so good that every team has 80+ overalls. STUPID. Also, players dont regress until there damn near 37 and players

peak start and peak end are way to high.

FREE AGENCY:

Moratorium is dumb, GET RID OF IT PLEASE. Also if you sim 5-10 years ahead you will find that low 70 overall players want 20-25 million dollars which is STUPID.

Also star players want so much money that they won't even get signed bc no team has cap room for that big of a contract bc there paying 70 overalls 20 million dollars.

3 TEAM TRADES:

3 team trades are broken and cannot happen. Just go watch KOT4Q one of the best rebuilders can't even make it happen.

3 team trades happen in real life and star players usually get traded in 3 team trades but not in 2k.

TARGET LISTS:

Have more than 5 slots for targets... just PLEASE.

AWARDS:

I love how they show you the MVP, ROTY, 6MAN, etc but when they show you COTY it doesnt tell you what team the coach is on... LIKE WTF... also they need to have executive of the year bc they have it in MyGm but it just doesn't appear in MyLeague for some reason.

AWARDS PART 2:

In my opinion, 2k needs to add a screen which shows you the Awards voting so 2-10 or whatever. Not just the winner and thats it.

AWARDS PART 3:

2k has an override button which I love but if you wanna override the 6Man award it is VERY VERY DIFFICULT. If you click override, it will give you all nba players not just players off the bench which is annoying bc for ROTY they only show you rookies.

50-40-90:

Only eight players have had the shooting splits of 50-40-90 in a season and yet if you sim a couple years ahead in 2k you will find that half the league is shooting 50-40-90 which is BLASPHEMY...

G-LEAGUE SYSTEM:

If you send a player to the G-League for 2-3 seasons, the player will jump up from a 70-90 bc the system is broken. I love having the g league but it's unrealistic where you can turn a 70 to a 90 overall in 2 seasons.

CYBER FACES:

Dwight Howard is on the All-Time Magic team and yet 2k uses is 2020 face.

When Dwight Howard was on the Magic he had short hair/waves not yellow dreads... just saying.

Also Prime Magic Dwight has the same tendencies as 2020 Dwight.

Another thing that annoys me is Tracy McGrady, one of my favorite players of all time and yet they have him on the All-Time Magic (which he played for them in the early 00's) with a 2008 T-Mac face. STUPID also a prime T-Mac won 2 scoring titles and averaged 32.0 PPG

in a season and yet his shot tendency is 70 and if you put him in MyLeague, he only averages about 19-22 points.

That is everything that annoys me about 2k20 and needs to be fixed in 2k21 but I probably forgot a lot bc I was just rambling...

I also think they should add historic my league where you pick a year since 2000 and they have all classic rosters and classic team looks.
