@nkjemisin. Your Broken Earth trilogy is incredible. I had the privilege of attending your worldbuilding workshop at WorldCon in San Jose. It was amazing.

@scottlynch78 . I read Locke and Jean’s shenanigans over a whirlwind summer. Before the fire, the books were already falling a part I’d read them so much. I love those boys.

@TochiTrueStory. Maaaaaaan your books rule. Taj’s journey has stayed with me like the tattoos on his body. The idea of sin-magic is one of the coolest, most unique things I’ve read. You and your work are a treasure.

@cyborgyndroid . I was so grateful you made the sojourn out to San Jose, CA a few years back for WorldCon. Getting to meet you & have you sign my AN UNKINDESS OF GHOSTS was such a gift. To this day, I think of Aster. If I could mail a copy to the Matilda for signing, lemme know.

I feel awkward and privileged trying to make this happen—mainly because I am both awkward and privileged lol. Know I love all of your work and deeply mourn that I lost it. Aside from my deceased parent’s stuff, this was the most important.
