Before i show stats why is it that we Expect Kobe to be as efficient as other perimeter players like LeBron?In LeBrons prime he takes 36.7% of his shots from 0-3 feet & for Kobes prime he takes 21.7% of his shots from 0-3 feet So no shit kobe less efficient.

People seem to think this Just because Kobe never averaged a ton of Assists like some other guys. Mostly because For most of his career Kobe was being Coached By Phil Jackson. And Phil Jackson runs triangle offense.

As Proof 6 of 7 of Shaqs highest APG seasons all came when playing under the triangle offense.

And in 1989 Before the bulls hired Phil as the coach MJ averaged 8 assists per game and was 8th in total AST. When Phil came he averaged 6.3 APG & was 19th in total AST.
