However he drove across state lines to go to a protest armed. So was he assuming he would get into an altercation?

I'm going to try to respond to everyone, but I want to clarify on the state lines part of my tweet since that seems to be what some people are getting stuck on:
I don't give a shit about crossing state lines while armed. I think that shouldn't be an issue now or ever if licensed

What I meant when I said that was more along the lines of was he aware or willfully ignorant that he was putting himself in a bad situation that was likely to escalate, and how much responsibility does that acknowledgement assume?
