I don't want to minimise the feelings of any LD members who are disappointed (I am too) but this is just a friendly reminder that while the leader is an important spokesperson who wields influence, members have a huge say in setting our policies and campaign priorities. (1/?)
So if part of your worry or disappointment is because you want us to be a vehicle for distinctive, exciting policies that can actually improve lives I would strongly encourage you to find and work with like-minded others to get those things you want on the agenda. (2/?)
I recently joined the Radical Association- which has successfully changed party policy for the better (amending the immigration motion is one example that comes to mind that was very good) and helped get the new disciplinary processes for the party set up, because I want (3/?)
to do that and help others do so more effectively.

If that appeals to you, check out our constitution and see if we're a good fit. The RA is free to join, and by being part of it you could help make it more effective at getting good stuff done. https://radicalassociation.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2&reset=1&id=2
