It’s been
year since the record breaking turn out that defeated Prop 105 & 106. #PHX residents showed up and declared their desire for a community with robust #Transportation options & investment in our parks, libraries, & city services. (1/6)

Light rail expansion has not and will not stop. We have and will continue to protect our rail because it is about equity for our entire community.

Just yesterday, the @FTA_DOT allocated $50.6 million that will support a 1.5-mile @ValleyMetro Light Rail extension in Northwest Phoenix to Metrocenter Mall. #PHX leads the region with over
miles of light rail and we aren’t stopping there. (3/6)

With the defeat of Prop 106 we were able to open more #Libraries and invest in our #Parks! Before #Covid19 I know Michael enjoyed visiting our libraries and is looking forward to going back.

We were also able to adapt our budget to the current landscape of #COVID19. Voters trusted us to make the best decisions for our city and ensure that we are equipped with the funding to face any issue head on, even a global pandemic. (5/6)
Today, the victory is no less important. Thank you for making your voices heard one year ago and continuing to invest in our great city! (6/6)
