So. March 12 I got a Covid-19 test through @NYCHealthSystem. The next week I got a bill for $394. Then I was told by the hospital I didn’t need to pay it. The charge disappeared from my account.

Yesterday I got this letter from a debt collection agency trying collect ... $394.

So now I have to physically mail a letter to the collection agency disputing this charge. Maybe I’ll win? Maybe I won’t? I have no idea. But what I do know is that because this has already gone to collections, my credit score is going to decrease.

What a system!!!!!
