it still baffles my mind...well no baffles my mind isn't the right terminology here because i shouldn't say i'm shocked...but the NHL literally postponed a game last second because of five overtimes...it was literally last second they were going to play if they finished earlier

yet they had HOURS to decide one, if they wanted to play, and two, if they wanted to do ANYTHING to show they support black lives yet they did nothing. literally nothing. they had a "moment of reflection" in one game and literally nothing in the other.

if you want to sit here and tell me this league gives af about their black players, their black workers, their black fans, then give me some examples of how they've shown that. because there's nothing there that says they do.

I feel the need to add to this thread after the league's apparent decision to postpone their games today. That's a great first step...emphasis on first step. it also should've happened yesterday. It comes off as extremely reactionary and took the HDA proposing a cancellation

But it at least shows they're showing SOME sort of an attempt to listen and learn...can't stop here though. I want to see the players take a stand, share their thoughts, etc. etc.
