Ok this is gonna be a long thread bear with me
So I shifted to a new house a couple of weeks ago. And the area I'm currently living in is filled with British expats. I live with an American, an Egyptian and a French guy. Let's call them A, E and F respectively.
So we went to a grocery store the other day and as we were about to checkout, this whyte man (in his 60s maybe) walked up to us and started abusing E because he looks brown and he thought he was an Indian.
So I interrupted him and told him to back off he then asked me where I was from so I told him I am from Pakistan, he then went on abusing me. He said and I quote " you Pakis are all terrorists. Your entire country is a disgrace and you should be killed off"
He even used some more racist slurs but let's just ignore that. He then stared at A and F and told them not to associate with me. The entire store was staring at me like I was some untouchable. Anyway so we left the store, none of my housemates stood up for me
The only reason I'm sharing this is because I don't understand why do we humans judge others based on the color of their skin, or the country they're from. I know Pakistan has fucked up in many ways I'm not gonna justify them but I'm not Pakistan
Anyway I just wanted to get this out of my system I'm sorry it's super long
