WHY DON’T WE SUPPORT HOMOSEXUALITY?

First of all we are not allowed to judge you for your sin if it is something secretive, it’s between you and Allah. But if your sins are affecting the society, spreading vulgarity and provoking others to follow you, then you will be judged and accountable to the society too.

First of all I’m not a homophobe , I don’t hate gays. But if there’s someone who’s a non Muslim and a gay in my society. I’m not going to hate on him or be judgemental. Same case if someone drinks alcohol or does zina. I’m not gonna judge him for it and I never do hate them.

In both of these cases , I may not be supporting their motives because it goes against my religion and you know that as well isn’t it? Now if I don’t support that , it doesn’t make me a homophobe. Because I’m not spitting hate against them.

I’m not telling people to go and bully them, im not telling anyone that they are bad people. all I’m saying is that I don’t support what they do. They think drinking alcohol is alright , I think it’s not. It’s as simple as that.

If you are going to come with a rebuttal on this that sexual orientation isn’t a choice than what is this where scientists say that there’s no such “gay gene”. Don’t make me write another thread on that,

I’m respecting you because of your choices and here you are trying to mock God and justify it with Islam and I urge you to not go down that road because you won’t be having any words left by the end of the day. If you are gay, I got no problem. You’ll mock God? That’s wrong

Now if there’s someone who’s a Muslim and he’s dealing with the same issues which I discussed before. Things will be a bit different. Like there will be some people who will be proudly supporting it and there will be some which might be regretting it badly.

Now there really are some Muslims who feel regret of doing this sort of stuff and there are various scholars which I follow and they were talking about how Muslims come up to them who are dealing with homosexuality problem as well.

A person can get drown in the sin but it depends whether he regrets it or if he’s proud of it and openly supports it.
Now here comes my personal opinion
If there’s a Muslim infront of me openly supporting and defending its stance on drinking alcohol or zina or if he’s gay.

I’m obviously not gonna hate him but I’ll try my best to tell him what’s wrong is wrong and a person should atleast feel some regret and I’m not going to constantly nag him ,

I’ll just tell him one time because that’s my duty as a Muslim and that’s it im done. Now from Islamic point of view
Y’all know the prophet lut’s story and I’m not gonna repeat it and u might also know that his nation wasn’t just homosexuals ,

they were bad people as well and there’s a story about it too like how one time some guests came to prophet lut and You might know what happened next

But one important thing which I learned was that prophet lut’s wife wasn’t homosexual but she was also given the SAME punishment because she was not just supporting them but assisting them as well so these things kind of scare me out as well

If I ask you why incest isn’t legalized, your answer will be more like a lecture based on objective morality and how it’s morally wrong and so on. The same way when I say homosexuality is wrong, I say it because this objective morality came from God why can’t you understand that

I never called you an incestphobe for not supporting incest (which is legalized in 21 countries) so don’t call me homophobe just because I said I don’t support homosexuality

Usually the rebuttal for “homosexuality is haram” is “only if you engage in the sexual act, not just having the feelings” & even though this is correct, the context of such response is usually someone who vehemently supports the lgbt community and considers them an ally.

Pretty sure there’s a popular story out there of a prophet’s wife being destroyed for supporting homosexuals and not condemning them. I wonder which story that is?

Another hilarious rebuttal is going to be “qoum e loot did this this this but in our country children get raped in mosque and so on”

I’ve done numerous threads on these issues and on all the list of things you people mention but is it my fault that it never reached you? First of all get out of your sexual tensions or your beefs then you’ll see a new world where people actually talk about all these issues.
