Until I’ve gone on my knees to pray, my thumbs have nothing to say.

fam, may our public outrage (on social media) be an overflow of our private outrage (in prayer).
I know that line is super corny but I needed it to rhyme so I personally wouldn’t forget...

Because lately I’ve found myself wanting to post about things that I had never talked to God about in prayer...

and that’s a problem.
It’s a problem when I post about issues more than I’ve prayed about those issues.

It’s a problem when I get worked up on social media about things I haven’t gotten worked up about in prayer.

It’s a problem when I’m quick to post and slow to pray.
Why is it that often times, the last person we go to in distress is the only person that can actually do something about it?

What if our distress is an invitation to call out to our rescuer?

“I call on the Lord in my distress and he answers me” - Psalm 120:1
