'Tejimola' is the story of a stepmother taking the life of her husband’s beloved daughter Tejimola during his absence, and her rebirth in various forms.
I will rightly regard Tejimola as a darker equivalent of Cindrella. The question big child abuse and exploitation comes into foreplay with this regard.
Tejimola, a talented yet helpless child fell victim to her stepmother's abuse and this song by Joi Barua gives an appropriate representation of Tejimola's death and rebirth in various forms such as wisdom and truth.
I'd highly urge the ones going through this thread to Google "Buri Aai'or Xadhu" by Lakshminath Bezbaruah and read Tejimola's story.
