1. We are at a huge inflection point in American history when it comes to sports + racial injustice. I am very encouraged to see these players stand up so courageously. I was wondering to myself what sort of conditions the NBA players might want to set

2. for the owners in order to resume the season and here are a few ideas I came up with this morning:
-Create a tithing system to funnel 10% of NBA profits to a player-run social justice-based foundation focused on education, voting rights

3. and institutional police reform
-Owners must complete extensive course on racial justice + inequality
-Owners must match all private educ. institution donations w:public educ. funds
-Fund recruitment of poll workers for 2020 election + pay 4 voting dropboxes in all 50 states

4. -Create an alliance of Black athletes across all major American sports. The fact that football practice in many NFL cities is proceeding today illustrates how little leverage most NFL players currently have - far too many are “on the bubble” in far too many ways. (End thread)
