Regarding my own feelings towards the statue, I personally have conflicting opinions. On one hand yeah, I don’t think it should be there, but at the same time I don’t feel it should be destroyed outright for historical reasons.

I honestly had forgotten it existed tbh.

Update: One person in Lake Charles confirmed dead. 14 year old girl, tree fell on her house. Not sure of identity yet.
