One of the first times Tae was able to showcase the soulfulness of his voice was during a lesson with Iris Stevenson, an esteemed choir director who praised him for being able to evoke emotion in others through his vocals!

Taehyung’s vocal timbre is truly so unique, it always draws attention. He is able to sing in light, airy tones as well as deep, rich ones while never losing his vocal color.

His range is amazing! Because he is the only baritone vocalist in BTS, Taehyung is almost always singing out of his voice’s comfort range. Most of BTS’ songs are written for a tenor range, but he is able to sing them with ease while his distinct vocal timbre remains intact.

His acapella live vocals!! Truly amazing. Miss Iris was right, his voice is making me feel many emotions.

Even when he’s just having fun during their breaks, he’s so talented! I could listen to him sing all day.
