The family of Margaret Pollock @marshpoll has asked us to say how much it meant to see all those who were able to turn out to say goodbye as she took her final journey. Her son, Colin and brother, Charles expressed with heartfelt and warm sentiments how lovely it was to see you.
It was very moving to see so many folk, from those who stood as Margaret left her home and the community she loved, to the people who gathered to pay tribute to her as she passed through Kirriemuir and Forfar, to those waiting on country roads, and at Friockheim crematorium.
The family found it very touching to see such expressions of the respect and affection Margaret was held in. They found it very helpful at a time when they were vulnerable and could have felt very isolated. They took sincere comfort in knowing they were not alone in their grief.
Oor Magrit loved a good march.

This was her last rally.

She would have loved it.

Thank you
