"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results"
One of the reasons I wanted United NOT to get Top 4 this season is for radical change. We're in a constant cycle of 1 step forward, 2 steps backward.

Qualify for the CL -> Don't kick on -> New manager and repeat.
This will keep happening as it's in the best financial interests of the ownership. Missing out on the UCL in consecutive seasons would be best for this club, as it would mean impactful long term change.
Under EW/ The Glazers we had the greatest manager of all time in Jose and we couldn't compete for the UCL/PL despite showing promise. The board failed him when we were climbing the ladder.

Imagine a below-average manager like Ole without assistance.
Sometimes the most positive long term changes come from the biggest short term losses.

A revolution is needed, otherwise, we come at the risk of falling behind permanently.
