sometimes i like get THIS close to understanding the beauty of religious belief, the desire to believe in a god that put careful thought and love into *you* rather than being an evolutionary accident... and then i am embittered by my experiences and bigotry again

(i promise i& #39;m almost done) religion has been ruined for me by my catholic upbringing and i hate it!! i can& #39;t even consider faith or higher powers without it feeling like i& #39;m doing something wrong or betraying who i am, and it& #39;s frustrating to not be able to explore that
