The most inaccurate label men like me have been accused of is that of "misogynist". It is a badge that we cannot rightfully accept. Chauvinist, yes. Sexist? Undoubtedly. We recognize the natures of the sexes. We don't hate woman, in fact we hold a healthy respect for what she is.
Hate is expensive. To make a thing worthy of hate is to exalt it to a level of combat and notoriety.
Men only war with equals. Woman is not my equal. She is subjective.

I don't hate what is beneath me. Instead I care for it, restrict it, and protect it, even from itself.
Hate women? You're doing it wrong. A farmer doesn't hate the stubborn cow. He learns to manage its intricacies and doesn't let it roam free out of reluctance to address its rebellion. They need each other.

Like most interactions with her, hating a woman would be a waste of time.
I would go even further to say that those who truly hate women are the women who corrupt the natural femininity and grace of woman and the sorry men who think it better to liberate women instead of exercising guardianship. To treat a thing outside of its purpose is to destroy it.
Freedom is easy. It is the lazy path.
Duty requires effort and strength.

Only weak men preach "freedom" while abandoning their duties to those in their care.
It takes a strong man to hold firm and wade through the vitriol of his lessers, providing for their well-being despite.
Like the list of fictitious phobias, misogyny is a misnomer. In the same way that phobias must be worthy of fear, a hated thing must be worthy of hate. When they call us misogynists, they unwittingly admit that their behaviors should be deserving of hatred. It is pure projection.
Afterall, how could anyone be drawn to hatred over the gender that naturally resorts to in-group subversion, disloyalty, baby-murdering, victim-playing, deceit, solipsism, gossiping, rallying, and other shaming and manipulation mechanisms?
