Grass-fed meat can be even more damaging to the living world than intensive. The @SoilAssociation seems to ignore the three crucial issues:
1. Land take
2. Carbon opportunity cost
3. Ecological opportunity cost

1. Land take = the amount of land required to produce a kg of meat. Grass-fed usually needs far more than intensive.
2. Carbon opportunity cost = the carbon benefits that would accrue if you stopped farming that land
3. Ecological opportunity cost = ditto for ecological benefits
Grazing swallows up vast tracts of land that would otherwise support trees, wetlands, wild herbivores, wolves, pumas, lions, functioning ecosystems and massive carbon reserves.
The best ecological option is to stop eating meat, and rewild this land.
