Okay so I'm furious.

I've mentioned previously that I struggle with going out (anxiety, balance issues, etc) but after much persuading, I reluctantly agreed to a slow, 15-minute walk this morning.
We had been out over 15-minutes when the add-ons start.

"Oh let's just nip this way too!"
"It's not far, honestly!"

I try to decline but ultimately I'm pressured into going along with it. Cue the "You just need some encouragement", "You should be walking this far anyway".
FUCK YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT. FUCK YOUR "SHOULDS".

You SHOULD respect my judgment about what I can manage and how far I can push myself.

I ENCOURAGE YOU not to trick me into agreeing to one thing, only to get me there and then steamroll me with extra stuff that I didn't agree to.
You're not "encouraging" me or "helping me out of my comfort zone".

You're teaching me not to trust you.

You're showing me that you absolutely do not respect my right to say no.

You're discouraging me from saying yes to ANYTHING for fear of being deceived into something else.
Rant over.
