How do I know I had a great PhD supervisor?

10+ years later and he’s still the person I want advice from. Or need for a favour.

For those who wanna know, it’s Philip Doble from @UTS_Science.

I think I speak to him once a week at least. Sometimes just to make fun of bozos we work with. Sometimes for deep searching questions about my career and happiness. And sometimes about nothing at all.

It’s also important to point out that during my PhD we often didn’t exactly get along either.

We both did a lot of growing up together.

He also reintroduced the term ‘bozo’ to my vocabulary.
