okay qrt-ing this again cause i just got reminded about something like this lol: in this summer program i was part of, we had this philosophical like class and one of the first things to answer was this label/rate 1-10 10 things based on their “realness” (something like that- https://twitter.com/aieturner/status/1298372968838508546
really) so 1 is the most “real” and 10 the least. I rated a statue/monument (?) no. 1 cause it was man made. And so it’s the one most probably real. Like okay, a tree. They were here before humans i believe and so like how sure are we that “tree” is really what they are called-
Like what if in some other universe it’s a different name? I know i know how much it’s such a stretch, it kinda sounds dumb but like definitely in for non-English languages, a different word/ form of communication was made for “trees” so nothing is exactly definite?
And again with the statue, whomever was the first to make it decided to call it, however it was called before actually, if not actually “statue/monument” kinda makes it more sure of realness cause somehow it was made possible out of the human hand.
They just blurted out “statue/monument”. They initiated/originated that “realness” of the object.
All in all, I worded this better months ago and i just butchered this but like yeah just 5:10 am thoughts you know? As i’ll look back at this thread, i will facepalm myself again but i’ll just have this moment 😌
