COVID forced the mass loss of income for sex workers across the industry. Strip clubs closed, brothels (illegal but yet still exist!) closed, many independent workers lost workplaces - being moved on by police when we’re outdoors, or giving up work flats we can’t afford.

Many of us still have no work and no other safety net or support. Some of us are desperate & having to take on more dangerous clients or forms of sex work we don’t want to do. Some of us are barely holding on.

This is exactly what sex workers in Sweden and France and Ireland have been telling us! If you take away our ability to earn a living, our lives will be worse off. If you make our working conditions and choices more dangerous or limited, our lives will be worse.

It’s really important that you make submissions. Supporters of the Swedish model have spent the pandemic doing nothing to help sex workers so they have a lot of time on their hands to write responses - we’ve actually been busy supporting our community so need your help with this!
