oh my GOD Two Toors Down didn't start the "Indie Cindy" trend that was HADOUKEN and the general aesthetics came from Klaxons, the Two Doors Down video was lagrely parodying what was already happening

actually this is true, haters will say I'm cringe but Inside In/Inside Out is still a perfect "walking around on a sunny summer day" album

1) the first two Maccabees albums are actually precious jewels and sorry if you can't see it because you don't have a HEART

also I think Hummer by Foals should have been on there? v strong "getting white teens to think they can dance" vibes from 2008, which is largely what the landfill years were about IMO
