The @Facebook India Advertising Report tells you the extent to which BJP-related ad spends dominate. A thread to illustrate.

OVERALL AD STATS (FEB'19-AUG'20)
Advertising Spend59.65 Cr INR
No of Advertisers30914

The interesting part emerges when you look at the big spenders...
Approx 0.15% of all advertisers spent 45% (54 spent 27.1 Crore INR). Grouping them by who the content supports generates this breakup of 27.1 Crore INR.

Content supporting the BJP gave FB 4x the ad revenue compared to content supporting the INC...
Here is the table of the 54 pages grouped by who the ad content supports along with ad spend details.

Interesting aside: Prashant Kishor's IPAC is the 5th largest spender (advertising themselves, that is), after the BJP, INC, Trinamool Congress & AAP...
This naturally poses another set of troubling questions to go with worries about #AnkhiDas giving the BJP a potential influence over FB India's policies... https://twitter.com/santhoshd/status/1297481908704567298

As @iam_indro commented, by no stretch of the imagination can Nirmamata be seen as AITC-friendly. They are anti-MamtaB, but can't conclude who they are *for* from their ads/website/page. I meant to classify thm in Others. Revised table/pie-chart doesn't alter this thread's point.
