Many leftists have seen the rise of fascism and had a knee jerk reaction of “buy a gun NOW!”
The fear is natural, the willingness to fight is admirable, but the reaction isn’t appropriate.

Looking into your heart and realizing youre not just a leftist but a revolutionary is a powerful, important thing.
Looking further and realizing you arent a soldier at heart but are willing to do equally dangerous work is equally powerful.

Are you willing to pass messages, wrap wounds, or let a soldier hide in your basement? You are as vital as any gun carrier to the revolution.
Soldiers are obviously needed, but they are nothing without support, and support will be just as dangerous of a role.

When youve realized youre suited to take on a role such as medic, spy, driver, or propagandist, you must embrace it with the passion and fearlessness of the soldier. You may face a worse, slower death. Accept your doom and let it strengthen your resolve.

You must study and practice at your role like a soldier at the range. You must spend time growing your skillset and practicing daily. You must study the battlefield you will fight on and the enemy you’ll fight. You will be saving lives by doing so.

Good leftists knows the painful process of deprogramming. As a CWM, deprogramming my congenital racism/sexism was painful but vital to becoming useful. We must also deprogram against the jingoism & disrespect for the bravery of support roles implicit in “buy a gun NOW!”

We have to support each other, respect each other, and understand how absolutely vital non combat roles are. No more feeling bad about not buying a gun. Know your worth, and know what youre willing to give up to make the world better than it is.
