So one of the teachers came out and asked me who I was and asked me if I teach “you look like you teach” and I was like “in the future I will” and he was like “cool! I’d love that for you and to see you around more”

Oop a whole azz mess/emergency happened and I’m gonna get the whole tea once the sub teacher is done teaching cuz she walked in MAD AF (and rightly so) but lemme finish this thread about my interaction with the other teacher

So we were talking about energy (vampires), movement, mental health, media manipulation lmao

I told him I don’t have a dance/fitness background but the owner did tell me about my chances of being taught to teach. And I told him my reasonings for wanting to teach blah blah

And he said “you already look like you’ll be good at teaching. I’m enjoying our flow within this conversation already. I think just be careful because you don’t have a dance background you’ll find others who’ll be openly envious because you didn’t have the “full training”

“But don’t worry about it. Just a heads up though”

And you know I get it. But luckily I’m surrounded by others who don’t feel that way but I understand he meant that if I were to teach elsewhere

He doesn’t have a dance background at all. He used to work at a prison and then did volunteer work for a vegan food place and some gardening workshops. And met his gf who does Pilates so he fell in love with her and Pilates. And eventually found his way through the industry
