As an digital art collector I get asked a lot by artists..
“Do you think my artwork is undervalued?"
“Why did you list this work so high?"
“Am I pricing it right?"
So here are 5 reasons why I bought your art low and listed it high. Thread Below - #FutureArt #CryptoArt
1. The emerging #NFT Art market is grossly undervalued. I expect to see a 10x in demand and new users, collectors, galleries and whales.. all competing for quality artists and artwork over the next 2 years.
2. Artists who will define this new art movement are undervalued. From @videodrome "Lost Robbies" on @SuperRare to @Robness #TrashArt on @rariable to @trevorjonesart “Picasso Bulls” on @niftygateway. Stories are being written everyday. These stories are easily 10x undervalued.
3. If your art is in #SatsMoonCollection I love it. I probably listed at 10 Eth because in truth. I never really want to sell it. If I never sell a single piece I would be happy to hold the collection till I die..
4. Finding a new artist and acquiring their first artwork for .02 Eth is always a thrill. Having collector come in and then value that work at 5 Eth is one of way of saying "Your work is great, I support you, I cosign it, and you can probably increase your price next time" :)
5. An art market pumps on its secondary sales so If I acquired your piece for 1 eth but I think it worth 10eth.. wait... maybe I should list it for 20eth... What if eth crashes when Im asleep and @ModeratsArt and @shayne_coplan empty my vault. fxck
