Gonna start a new thread & a new hashtag for my my adventures with Mayday & Zuke at Vinyl City! I'll try to hopefully post screenshots here on this thread, but in case I want to share videos of my gameplay, I'll post it through the #VinylCity007 tag

Anyways, I definitely want to get the critiques done first because as much as I love this game, I wish the developers could have mentioned a head's up or even refine their gameplay versions for the Switch
So speaking about my experience of Vinyl City through the Switch console it's...disappointing regards to the game's visual graphics, which I honestly looked forward to.
I was hoping they'd be able to transfer as many details as they did for the PS4 version, which looks stunning btw, but it still looks like their demo versions without refine. In general, I managed to tolerate it but it did bother me at certain times.
A good example was playing Bunk Bed Junction's arcade game and their pixelated objects were completely blurred. I was honestly distracted that I wasn't able to see the details of the pixelated wolf and its enemies in the arcade game
Also I also wanted to add some critique regarding the game's performance during animated cutscenes and other stuff. Like, one thing that also threw me off was how the camera shot for the show-finisher would sometimes be off-center from where it's supposed to film at.
And another good example which I saw with other users is how the audio and the visuals for Vinyl City's animated commercials became out of sync, and it's lowkey annoying when I want to try and record some gameplay of Vinyl City's citylife.
Anyways, some last notes before I get to the juicy stuff is that I wish the devs would give us a head's up regarding how the graphics look between each platform - I'm glad I got the game on sale, but yeah, I'm hoping there'll be a patch to fix these glitches soon.
Anyways, one of my favorite parts while playing NSR is honestly the soundtrack that accompanies each district's boss battles. I managed to get the EDM version of DJ Subatomic Supernova's battle and playing through that level with that track is
#VinylCity007

I'm hoping I'll have the motivation to post it someday because I thought the level synced so well with the soundtrack, it was too good
but yeah, I already had a couple S-Rank scores received there so maybe I'll try to post it from Crazy mode in the future

Oh also there's this glitch that happened during one of the boss battles where the highlights for the current character was inverted (eg. Mayday was highlighted when I was playing Zuke). Luckily I figured out that I can still heal them when I play them but it def threw me off
Anyways, another thing that I love about this game is its world-building through the character's dialogue, observations, interactions, and collectibles. I know sometimes it seems a bit annoying to check up on NPCs, but I think it's worth it since it changes depending on the boss
That and there's a feature in Bunk Bed Junction's secret hideout where the player can choose how the band mates respond to certain personal questions about themselves, which I thought was very cool since it brings the player into the spotlight like they're a part of the band

NPC dialogue is also really interesting around the different districts, and it's honestly how I learned that Mayday is 21 years old
plus interacting with observations really show Mayday and Zuke's character in a different light

Anyways, I'll try to post some pictures & videos of my gameplay or add onto this thread as I go along the game, but there's definitely a lot more that I want to add to this review - I just gotta reach it myself first
