The amount of shit I had heard while working at majority white/creative spaces - this is not surprising at all. And many of those folx consider themselves liberal - and know well enough that it was naive or a slip up. And it’s NOT having black creatives in the room -

That let’s this kind of stuff slide. Either because they didn’t consider the context or no one was there to call them out. And even when we are - it could mean losing your job for being difficult or the angry black person.
It’s exhausting.

And it’s not okay to be the norm.
