Hey, this is TeaKings just reminding you to put your pronouns in your bio!
People don't think that putting pronouns in your bio is very important, but it actually is! In this thread I will tell you why it is important.
Normalizing telling people your pronouns/putting them in your bio.
Most people that "need" to tell you their pronouns or put them in their bios are non-binary or trans people; that shouldn't be the case though. Everyone, cis or not, should be doing this.
Transphobic or homophobic people will usually attack people who have their pronouns in their bios because they assume that they're trans, it will be easy and helpful for them if we normalize putting pronouns in your bio.
You may not feel the need to put your pronouns in your bio or tell people because it "should be obvious", but regardless of that, it will be very helpful if you just do it.
Just because it's something you aren't used to, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Try to understand what it's like for people that get misgendered or attacked because of their pronouns.
This will help people who you cannot reply to who want to know your pronouns, and it will be a lot easier than having to tell people.
Some people don't feel comfortable asking either, and if they want to know and cannot ask you, this will also be helpful to them.
Here is a bit from an article about why you should normalize telling people your pronouns.
