Political Lesbianism& #39;s "just chose to be attracted to only women because Men Are Trash!" is literally just playing into the conservative/right wing belief that sexuality is a choice. If you think bi women can just stop being attracted to men, congrats, you agree with homophobes.

I mean we Been Knew that radfems are just conservatives but like. It& #39;s amazing how brazenly blatant they& #39;re currently being about. There is nothing about "you can chose who to be sexually attracted to actually" that isn& #39;t 100% rooted in just straight up homophobia.

The idea that your sexuality or gender identity is in any way inherently a political statement is bad enough as is, but to imply that Bi people have any choice in who they are attracted to is to imply that ANYONE can control who they are attracted to.

When you say "but I just don& #39;t want them to center men in their lives!" You are saying that you believe, again, that bi people have any control over who they are attracted to, and that bi women who date men are "chosing" to date men over women.

I kmow there will be some types that would deliberately misinterpret this thread and say "Look at them, they& #39;re saying that women not being allowed to date men is homophobic!" And to that I reiterate: it& #39;s absolutely homophobic to say people can chose who they are attracted to.
