Somethings I think may be important to read right now:

About the stream: Yes, that was extremely fucked up. I won& #39;t deny that. I think a lot of the issues addressed are SUPER important and NEED to be heard. However, we also have to remind ourselves that they& #39;re human too.
People tend to put Noelle and the crew on a pedestal. And that& #39;s very harmful. People make mistakes. People say wrong and harmful things. And people also can learn and grow from those mistakes and try to do and be better. They just have to be given a chance to do so
Shit happens, it& #39;s part of the damage growing up in this society does. Nobody is born all deconstructed, and we have to work really hard not to fall into harmful behaviors sometimes.

Sometimes it& #39;s so internalized that we don& #39;t realize it until someone points it out. It happens
I& #39;m not saying that what happened is not wrong, PLEASE, far from that. We have to address it.

A lot.

All the time.

But also understand that people ARE in constant learning, also all the time. They& #39;re people.
I feel like cancel culture has come to a point where nobody is allowed to commit ANY mistakes, and nobody is allowed to learn from them anymore. And this is damaging in a lot of ways.

(I hate twitter for not letting me finish this on this tweet)
Of course, a lot of those mistakes were pretty heavy and harmful, but many of them were made without a second thought. People say shit in the heat of the moment, it HAPPENS. Throw the first rock whoever never made a mistake like that and got called out.

Everybody can learn...
The point is: don& #39;t cancel everyone on the spot. Educate them. Make yourself heard. But don& #39;t act like what they& #39;ve done were purposefully harmful. A lot of times it& #39;s not. So please, be gentle and educate people around you. If they& #39;re willing to listen and learn, they will.
Now about the host......... No excuses for that one, he was just......... Ughhhhh (mermista& #39;s voice)
