I’ve been battling balancing the hurt and frustration and inspiration and all of the feelings of empathy that’s required in the revolution and the struggle of liberation for the people but today I received great news and even just for a moment, my heart is at ease (1/?)
my dearest friend who I admire, love and am deeply inspired by, is a free man. if you know him, you know he is the epitome of love and humanity. I wrote a thinkpiece a couple of weeks ago while thinking of my incarcerated classmates. (2/?)
Finding out that he is free, he is in society, and he can reunite with his dog uplifts, motivates & energizes me more than words can express cuz I know he’ll be fighting alongside us out here. This brilliant and compassionate person is fucking free y’all, he’s free!!!. (3/?)
He wrote a memoir while he was inside, and I sincerely urge and encourage you all to read it to be moved, angry, and inspired to fight for people like my friend Art. Located in page 74 (or 90 on pdf) titled "My Daughter, My Road Dog" Please read it. (4/?)

That's all. My friend is free and I am so happy! I can only imagine how he feels to be free. I'm not gonna stop fighting until they're all free. And I wanna live to see that day. Thanks for reading this thread, and please, please read Art's story to honor him. (5/5)
