We watched the gov pull money out of their ass essentially they HAVE the “funds”. It’s even strange saying funds because they’re literally the ones who produce money to give to us. Yes I know inflation blah blah blah. They didn’t care about that in March/April!

If you’re a conservative just say that. Demanding that poor people who *desperately needed* the extra $600 to fulfill their basic needs, also prioritize saving is just—do y’all be reading your tweets before pressing send?

We’re in a pandemic. Bills have not been frozen. Jobs are firing and cutting hours. There’s now a natural disaster happening. And THIS is when you want to judge marginalized communities for not saving money to save their lives now, as if that’s not our government’s job???

That tweet is also extremely victim blamy to the victims of this hurricane. “Welp you lost everything cause you didn’t save money during a global pandemic where you were jobless!!!” Like seriously. What. Do. Y’all. Be. Saying?????
