Here’s some good news.

Hamilton County is one of Ohio’s largest counties. Cincinnati and its suburbs. Used to be red. Now it’s blue. But to win, it needs to be very blue.

Well, for the early vote, it’s damn blue!

As of this morning, Hamilton County has received and processed 44,414 absentee vote requests (and that’s with a 5 day processing backup).

That compares to 4,824 in 2016 and  2,271 in 2012, at this same moment.

Hamilton County processed 8,202 just on Monday and Tuesday!

And who’s behind this surge?

It ain’t the GOP.

In 2012, the breakdown at this moment was 16% R,  24% D, and 59% I.

In 2016, the breakdown was 21% R,  28% D, and 51% I.

In 2020, the breakdown is...11% R,  45% D, and 43% I.
