To say they’ve had NOTHING this year is absurd, but it’s also absurd to pretend like it’s been completely normal as well LOL.

Even before COVID really hit, we hadn’t even gotten our big Jan-Feb. Direct we usually get, so things were gonna be slower either way

financially, Nintendo is doing incredible numbers, and they also don’t wanna confirm release dates they’re not sure of, when they don’t have to.

But removing corporate stuff. Just thinking as a big fan who loves new stuff from our favourite dev, I get being frustrated

I think sometimes people forget that people have emotional attachment to games, so even if they tweet like it’s the end of the world, it’s not. It’s just an emotional outburst,

there’s always gonna be the extremists that think it’s all doom & gloom, and those ppl are always gonna be like that.

But for the rest, it’s mostly just the continued odd choices that pop up by them that make people go ????, which is a normal reaction when they never did that

It’s like if u knew someone for euhh 10 years, and then they suddenly started acting different.

Not necessarily bad, but different enough that it was noticeable, which takes u a bit to mentally adjust to
