There's an openly racist man as your president, lauded anchors on your news networks spewing racism, a head writer on said shows resigning because his open racism was discovered, applause as the army puts down protests demanding racial equality, and you claim you're not racist.
You say you find the amount of "politics" in sports disturbing when almost all of it is combatting open racism, worship podcast hosts who spew open racism on every episode, you say mum about any shooting where unarmed black people are killed but are incensed by property damage.
You follow Twitter accounts that are open racist, like and RT their tweets occasionally, say shit like "I don't think hate speech exists," oppose all tax initiatives that go to trying to tackle racial inequality on austerity grounds, yet support a trillion-dollar annual military.
You have made every sort of excuse why George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Alton Sterling, or Philando Castile deserved to be killed, yet tried to use a 5-year old's daeth for a "gotcha" moment when his murder had already been arrested.
You lap up every word that Candace Owens says, except when she voices concert that the right might be racist because of how she is personally treated (that can be ignored), but almost every other black commentator is seen as too biased to be trusted on race issues.
You say you're color-blind... Except when it comes to black music, comedy, art, cinema, writing, and excellence.

Yet, black representation in video games, movies, books, and TV shows is picked apart, and obsessively researched under the guise of "historical accuracy."
Every social and political stance you have is wrapped up in this "pro-Westernism," "Pro-American," "Pro-American Dream," "Anti-Regressive," cocktail that you can't ever seem to properly verbalise outside of examples you do or don't like, never mind tangibly define.
You cling to these outlandish and easily-refrutable historical fantasies, that "the Civil War was about states rights," (Oh, why were those so important..? Which ones in particular?) and the idea that unless racism is loudly self-proclaimed, surely it can't be racism, no?
You ignore all statistical studies evidencing institutional racism in basically all aspects of American life (test scores, median incomes, sentencing disparities, home evaluations), but can quote Chicago crime statistics off the top of your head like it was your BA.
You think it's fun to pretend like you're a racist, you know, that just a dark sense of humor!

It never seems to phase you when almost nobody else laughs, that's just part of the joke!

Or, you revel and lean into it when everybody else is laughing, they love your deadpan!
But no.

You're not racist.

And how dare anybody even point all this out in conjunction.

Or even begin to ask if the entities that you devote countless hours a day to *might* be a little racist.

Or that all this points to being a closeted racist.

Or that you might be racist.
At least openly admit it, you can save people like me who are horrified when after 20 or so years of being on this earth that racism is at the heart of a lot of this.

It will save idiots like a younger me who fell for this a lot of embarrassment and a lifetime of shame.
Eat shit, I'm tired of acting like you're a good faith actor using the same debating tactics that I used to use for years when I was a bad-faith actor.

You can't hide from somebody who knows what those private conversations sound like, and those groupchats look like.
