What is CBD isolate and why do I use it in Spekr product formulations? *Thread*

(2/9) Isolate is a singled out version of the desired compound. This means it is the purest form of #CBD, without the presence of other compounds such as #THC, terpenes, or other potential impurities like anti-nutrients that blocks nutrient absorption and lowers bioavailability.

(3/9) Spekr CBD isolate is 99.9% pure, leaving little to no residual compounds. Our CBD isolate is derived from #hemp that was NOT sprayed with pesticides or other potentially toxic compounds.

(4/9) You might have heard the common talking point about how full or broad spectrum CBD is better than CBD isolate because it provides “the entourage effect” from cannabinoids, terpenes, or other compounds. Let’s discuss this topic a bit:

(5/9) Distillate, also known as “full or broad spectrum” oils, is a whole plant extract and still potentially has many impurities. While isolation can remove beneficial compounds from the hemp, it also removes many of the potentially harmful or unnecessary compounds as well.

(6/9) I completely agree with the synergistic benefits of “the entourage effect,” but contrary to popular belief, these benefits can occur with many other compounds mixed together outside of hemp as well.
